How this site is funded

In one sentence

When you follow a link from CROSSHAIR to Amazon and buy something, Amazon pays us a percentage. You pay exactly the same price as if you had gone to Amazon directly.

What that changes about the rankings

Nothing on the substance, and here is why rather than just the claim:

• No brand can buy a position. We do not sell placement.
• Every entry lists at least one trade-off. A site that never finds a fault with anything is useless to you.
• Commission rates in PC peripherals barely vary by product, so there is no incentive to push the more expensive option.

How to spot an affiliate link

Every commercial link carries the technical attributerel="nofollow sponsored" and opens in a new tab, and each page with commercial links states it near the top.

On prices

We publish no prices. They change several times a day on Amazon, and a stale price is a misleading one. Tier labels are editorial ranges; only the price shown on Amazon at the moment you buy counts.
