GEARAKRacing Masters Premium — a steel frame with a ten-year warranty on it
A steel frame warranted for ten years, cold-cured foam that does not flatten in a season, and an aluminium base rated to 150 kg. It is a racing seat, with everything that implies about how you have to sit in it.
- Load rating
- 150 kg
- Recline
- 180°
- Armrests
- 4D, removable
Strengths
- Ten years on the frame and five on parts — the manufacturer is underwriting the component that actually fails
- Cold-cured foam holds its shape far longer than the cut sheet foam used lower down the price list
- 4D armrests that also come off entirely, which matters if you rest your forearm on the desk instead
Trade-offs
- Bucket seat: the raised side bolsters hold you square, and fight you the moment you sit cross-legged
- Lumbar support is a strap-on cushion, not a mechanism built into the backrest
- PU leather does not breathe — in a warm room a fabric chair is the better call whatever it costs
Buy the frame, not the upholstery
Gaming chairs fail in a predictable order: foam compresses, the gas lift sinks, then the frame welds go. AKRacing warrants the frame for ten years and parts for five, which tells you where they expect it to hold.
The base is aluminium rather than nylon, with a Class 4 gas lift matched to the rating. Those are the two parts that turn a chair into a liability when they let go.
The bucket seat is a real constraint
This is a racing shell. The bolsters hold you square when you sit square — and get in the way the moment you shift sideways or fold a leg under you. If you know you fidget, a flat-pan ergonomic chair will serve you better at any price.
The lumbar compromise
Support comes from a cushion on a strap rather than a mechanism in the backrest. It works, but it moves when you do. Chairs at this price with integrated adjustable lumbar exist, and the Titan Evo below is one of them.
Verdict
The value pick if you sit square and want the structure to last.
