Strengths

Trade-offs
- That thickness raises your wrist by 6 mm — on a desk already at the right height it forces a slight wrist extension
- Soft foam compresses under a heavy hand, so lift-off distance can shift mid-swipe
- 450 × 400 mm is smaller than the 490 mm class most low-sensitivity players end up wanting
Thickness is a fix for a desk, not an upgrade
Six millimetres of foam exists to solve one problem: a surface that is not flat. Cable slots, a joint in the desktop, a slight warp — the sensor reads all of it. A thick pad absorbs it.
If your desk is already flat, the thickness gives you nothing and costs you wrist angle. That is the honest way to decide between this and the standard QcK.
Control, not speed
Micro-woven cloth sits firmly in control territory: the mouse stops when your hand stops. For tactical shooters that is the property that matters, because counter-strafing is worthless if the crosshair keeps travelling.
The compression caveat
Soft foam under a heavy grip presses down, which changes the distance between sensor and cloth as you push harder. Most players never notice. If you slam through flicks, a firmer pad will track more consistently.
Verdict
The safe, cheap, known quantity. Choose the thickness deliberately rather than assuming more is better.
